The EU AI Act faces delay

After a crunch meeting, European lawmakers have halted their efforts to pass the European Union’s Artificial Intelligence Act, delaying the adoption of the legislation that would set standards for the use of AI across the 27-nation bloc. Despite the delays, the European Commission is still pushing for the Act to be adopted before the end of the year.
