Does the EU AI Act apply to what you actually do?

The Act does not regulate AI in general. It names particular uses — eight areas in Annex III, a list of prohibited practices in Article 5, disclosure duties in Article 50 — and everything else falls outside its risk tiers. The difficulty is that it names them in legal terms, not in the words an organisation uses for its own work.
